- PHILIPPINE DEPED WASH IN SCHOOLS THREE START APPROACH MONITORING RESULTS: MENSTRUAL HYGIENE MANAGEMENT 2019/20 (NEW) – In 2016, the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) issued the National WinS Policy (DepEd Order 10, Series 2016). Through this policy, all schools are mandated to implement important aspects of MHM, amongst other WinS aspects. DepEd conducts annual monitoring to track progress of schools implementing the WinS policy. The The latest round of monitoring was conducted in School Year 2019/2020, with a total of 39,814 participating schools or approximately 88% of public schools in the country.
